Fans of dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, stormed the offices of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) on Thursday, August 21, 2025, to demand his release from custody.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore proceeding with the case, EOCO has set a bail of ten million Ghana cedis (GH\u20b510 million) with two sureties. I assure you, the dancehall king\u2019s management and legal team are working tirelessly to resolve this,\u201d Sammy Flex stated.<\/p>\n
He also clarified that the case has been widely misreported. According to him, EOCO\u2019s investigation relates specifically to taxes on Shatta Wale\u2019s Lamborghini and his business operations, not other speculated issues circulating on social media.<\/p>\n
