{"id":12825,"date":"2025-08-23T07:14:46","date_gmt":"2025-08-23T07:14:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=12825"},"modified":"2025-08-23T07:14:47","modified_gmt":"2025-08-23T07:14:47","slug":"assaulted-ridge-hospital-nurse-sues-ralph-williams-for-ghs7m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=12825","title":{"rendered":"Assaulted Ridge Hospital nurse sues Ralph Williams for GHS7m"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"196\" data-end=\"504\">Rejoice Tsotso Bortei, a nurse at Ridge Hospital assaulted during a violent incident involving relatives of a patient on August 17, has filed a GHS 7 million civil lawsuit against social media personality Ralph Saint Williams, also known as \u201cRalph De Fellow Ghanaian,\u201d for alleged physical assault and defamation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"708\">According to a Writ of Summons filed at the High Court in Accra on August 20, 2025, and sighted by newsmen on August 22, Bortei is seeking GHS 5 million for battery and GHS 2 million for defamation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"710\" data-end=\"898\">The statement of claim alleges that Williams physically assaulted Bortei, causing injuries including a dislocated shoulder and a hand injury, which have affected her professional duties.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"900\" data-end=\"1048\">In addition, the plaintiff claims Williams made defamatory statements publicly, calling her a \u201cliar\u201d and accusing her of fabricating her injuries:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1050\" data-end=\"1228\"><em data-start=\"1050\" data-end=\"1226\">\u201cLiar, wo se wo nsam abu. Duab\u0254 bebam. You say you have suffered an injured hand and a dislocated shoulder.
