Former Chief Executive Officer of the National Food and Buffer Stock Company, Abdul-Wahab Hanan Aludiba, has denied any involvement in the alleged corruption scandal linked to the company, following revelations by the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Dr. Dominic Ayine.<\/p>\n
At the Government Accountability Series held in Accra, Dr. Ayine disclosed that over GH\u00a240 million was allegedly transferred through Sawtina Enterprise to several individuals and entities \u2014 including Hanan \u2014 as part of what investigators suspect to be a money laundering scheme connected to the former CEO\u2019s tenure.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, Hanan dismissed the Attorney General\u2019s claims as false and damaging to his reputation, insisting he has no involvement in any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy attention has been drawn to recent statements made by the Honourable Attorney General during a press engagement, in which my name was mentioned in connection with allegations of corruption,\u201d Hanan stated.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wish to state, respectfully, that these claims are untrue and do not reflect the facts of the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
He further described the allegations as \u201cdeeply unfortunate\u201d, stressing that he has no connection to the matters currently under investigation.<\/p>\n
Hanan added that he has engaged legal counsel to review the issue and advise on the next steps to protect his integrity.<\/p>\n
