The Minority caucus in Parliament is demanding the immediate prosecution of officials at the Ministry of Transport for allegedly overspending about GHS10 million from its 2025 budget without parliamentary approval.<\/p>\n
The caucus argues that, though Parliament sanctioned GHS83 million for the ministry\u2019s capital expenditure, the ministry overspent by GHS10 million, a breach of the Public Financial Management Act.<\/p>\n
Contributing to the debate on the ministry\u2019s 2026 budget estimate, the Minority insisted that accountability is required and that heads must roll.<\/p>\n
