Former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen, now an Independent Presidential Candidate and leader of the Movement for Change, has highlighted his accomplishments while serving in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interview with TV3’s Keminni Amanor on Hot Issues, Kyerematen praised his role in implementing what he considers one of the government’s most successful programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized his commitment to the One District, One Factory (1D1F) initiative, stating that during his tenure, approximately 296 factories were in various stages of development under the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kyerematen asserted that if elected president, he would prioritize the continuation and optimization of the 1D1F program, citing its potential to generate employment and drive industrial transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
