In an exclusive interview with 3 Music TV, well-known Ghanaian media personality\u00a0Nana Aba Anamoah\u00a0talked about a big and private period of her life.

Anamoah discussed her sacrifices for her child’s welfare in an honest manner during the interview. Did I give up on school? she admitted. Sure enough, I did. I never would have said that previously, but I was accepted to medical school for a whole year. Remember, I was a science major too, so I had to let go of my desire to go to medical school.\u201d

In light of her father’s expectations for her, the choice to drop out of medical school was not without its difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy dad wished for me to become a doctor. I had no desire to be. My dad believed I would make an excellent doctor. He was using me as a conduit for his life. She said, \u201cI believe he wanted to be a doctor and realized that his daughter would become one when he realized he couldn’t make it.\u201d

\u201cIt would have been a disaster, and it came at the right time,\u201d she said. It’s interesting, she said, that her father was understanding despite his original expectations. \u201cFor my father, he was not bothered because we were very close,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
