The Chief Justice has shown the way. March 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rationale for the Court Shift System stems from the fact that, findings from a physical count of dockets undertaken in all courts nationwide demonstrated that a number of identified courts have huge caseloads, with some in excess of 600 pending cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is envisaged that the Court Shift System when implemented will reduce the backlog of cases in the specified courts, improve accessibility to justice for citizens by offering flexible court hours that accommodate diverse schedules, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the judicial system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Court Shift System will be implemented on a pilot basis in the under-listed eight (8) selected Courts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. High Court \u20181\u2019, Adentan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. High Court \u20182\u2019, Adentan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. High Court 1, Amasaman<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Circuit Court, Weija<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. District Court, La<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6. District Court, Teshie<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7. District Courts A&amp;B, Madina<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">8.
