{"id":4415,"date":"2024-03-29T04:49:27","date_gmt":"2024-03-29T04:49:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=4415"},"modified":"2024-03-29T04:49:29","modified_gmt":"2024-03-29T04:49:29","slug":"kasoa-shrinking-penis-electrician-remanded-over-false-alarm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=4415","title":{"rendered":"Kasoa shrinking penis: Electrician remanded over false alarm"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A District Court at Awutu Breku has remanded into police custody&nbsp;a 22-year-old electrician who allegedly raised false alarm that his penis shrunk at Millenium City, Kasoa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michael Nelson is being held over publication of false news\u00a0and causing unlawful harm.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nelson is said to have raised alarm falsely that his penis was shrunken and accused Safiru Bohari, a nail technician, the complainant, as the one who caused it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the accused person\u2019s false alarm, Bohari was beaten up mercilessly by some.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court did not take the plea of Nelson.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is expected to reappear before the court presided over by Naomi Kontuor on April 11, 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution, led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Thomas Sarfo and Chief Inspector Bernice Wie Kpuusu, told the court that the complainant was a resident of Lawyer, suburb of Kasoa, whiles the accused person resided at Millenium City in Kasoa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On March 27, 2024, the prosecution said at about 3:15pm,&nbsp;the complainant, whiles on his normal rounds cutting nails for interested persons came to Millennium City Estate and sat under a mango tree to take some rest.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution said Nelson, who resided in the area on seeing the complainant advanced towards him.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court heard that Nelson without any cause started accusing&nbsp;the complainant&nbsp;of having caused his pennis to shrink.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution said the accused person suddenly raised alarm, which attracted people within the neighbourhood.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ose-youtube ose-uid-ad1660f0055ecf29171b64851a076138 ose-embedpress-responsive\" style=\"width:400px; height:400px; max-height:400px; max-width:100%; display:inline-block;\" data-embed-type=\"Youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowFullScreen=\"true\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SupoGFCWLL0?feature=oembed&color=red&rel=0&controls=1&start=&end=&fs=0&iv_load_policy=0&autoplay=0&mute=0&modestbranding=0&cc_load_policy=1&playsinline=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; encrypted-media;accelerometer;autoplay;clipboard-write;gyroscope;picture-in-picture clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen referrerpolicy=\"origin\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecutor told the court that Nelson made the people to believe that&nbsp;that the complainant was responsible for the shrinking&nbsp;of his penis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution said the people&nbsp;together with the accused person without any enquiry subjected the complainant&nbsp;to severe beatings and he sustained various degree of injuries on his body.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution said a witness, who got to the scene, rescued the complainant and brought both the complainant and the accused person&nbsp;to the Millenium&nbsp;City Police station where the case&nbsp;was&nbsp;reported.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court heard that a medical report form was issued to the complainant.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution said Nelson was escorted&nbsp;to the Kasoa Polyclinic&nbsp;for examination and treatment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the prosecutor, when Nelson was examined&nbsp;by a medical officer on duty, his manhood was \u201cstable\u201d and had no \u201cdefect\u201d contrary&nbsp;to the accused person\u2019s claim.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNonetheless, he was given medication.
