{"id":4950,"date":"2024-04-17T09:19:06","date_gmt":"2024-04-17T09:19:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=4950"},"modified":"2024-04-17T09:19:19","modified_gmt":"2024-04-17T09:19:19","slug":"dr-christopher-adu-boahen-murder-case-adjourned-to-may-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=4950","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen murder: Case adjourned to May 9"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case of Mark Forson, the houseboy accused of murdering Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen, the son of the late Professor Albert Adu Boahen, has been adjourned to May 9, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Kaneshie District hearing the matter did not sit, hence the adjournment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forson, who has been provisionally charged with murder, had his plea preserved by the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution\u2019s case is that the complainant is a surgeon at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and friend to the deceased Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution said the accused, Mark Forson, was the houseboy of the deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On February 11, 2024, the complainant decided to visit his friend at home and upon reaching the door, was met with an usual smell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ose-youtube ose-uid-188e6f1e79e16c3919d40cb4836f42a0 ose-embedpress-responsive\" style=\"width:400px; height:400px; max-height:400px; max-width:100%; display:inline-block;\" data-embed-type=\"Youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowFullScreen=\"true\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FkCQm4I2nBw?feature=oembed&color=red&rel=0&controls=1&start=&end=&fs=0&iv_load_policy=0&autoplay=0&mute=0&modestbranding=0&cc_load_policy=1&playsinline=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; encrypted-media;accelerometer;autoplay;clipboard-write;gyroscope;picture-in-picture clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen referrerpolicy=\"origin\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution said the complainant then proceeded to the deceased\u2019s room and found him lying on his bed, dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court heard that the complainant immediately proceeded to the East Legon Police Station and reported the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution said the police went to the scene of the crime and saw the deceased lying on his bed with a rope around his neck, which suggested foul play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court heard that the body was conveyed to the Police Hospital Morgue for autopsy and preservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On March 14, 2024, the prosecution said Mark Forson was arrested for his involvement in the murder of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the prosecution, investigation remains underway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The case of Mark Forson, the houseboy accused of murdering Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen, the son of the late Professor Albert Adu Boahen, has been adjourned to May 9, 2024.
