{"id":6307,"date":"2024-06-03T15:04:51","date_gmt":"2024-06-03T15:04:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=6307"},"modified":"2024-06-03T15:04:54","modified_gmt":"2024-06-03T15:04:54","slug":"lil-win-granted-gh%e2%82%b550k-bail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=6307","title":{"rendered":"Lil Win granted GH\u20b550k bail"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Popular Kumawood actor Lil Win has been granted bail of GH\u20b550,000 with 2 sureties by the Asokore Mampong district Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is to reappear in court on June 27, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lil Win was arrested on Monday, June 3<a href=\"https:\/\/3news.com\/showbiz\/movies\/lil-win-involved-in-accident-at-amakom-in-kumasi\/\">&nbsp;<\/a>by the Manhyia Divisional police command over his involvement in an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/3news.com\/showbiz\/movies\/lil-win-involved-in-accident-at-amakom-in-kumasi\/\">accident that claimed the life of a 3-year-old.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fatal incident occurred at Amakom in Kumasi on May 25 hours before the premiere of his movie \u2018A Country Called Ghana\u2019 at the KNUST auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The actor was arrested as soon as he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on Monday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three-year-old, Richard Nana Yaw Ampomah reportedly lost his life while receiving treatment at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/3news.com\/showbiz\/lilwins-accident-three-year-old-dies-father-hospitalised\/#\">\u00a0Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital<\/a>\u00a0on Saturday, May 25 hours after the accident at Amakom in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/3news.com\/showbiz\/lilwins-accident-three-year-old-dies-father-hospitalised\/#\">\u00a0Kumasi<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ose-youtube ose-uid-12c4c8602ea3cd2ef971763e7985f8a9 ose-embedpress-responsive\" style=\"width:400px; height:400px; max-height:400px; max-width:100%; display:inline-block;\" data-embed-type=\"Youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowFullScreen=\"true\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VsL0h0Zf33E?feature=oembed&color=red&rel=0&controls=1&start=&end=&fs=0&iv_load_policy=0&autoplay=0&mute=0&modestbranding=0&cc_load_policy=1&playsinline=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; encrypted-media;accelerometer;autoplay;clipboard-write;gyroscope;picture-in-picture clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen referrerpolicy=\"origin\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nana Yaw is reported to have occupied the front passenger seat of his father\u2019s vehicle when it collided with LilWin\u2019s branded Mercedes benz. Witnesses say the actor was driving at a top speed when the crash occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lil Win has since been receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye hospital until his arrest on Monday morning. His manager and personal guard have still been hospitalised and receiving treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, the three-year-old boy has been buried by the bereaved family while his father, Jacob Ampomah who sustained a fractured leg injury is still visiting the hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lil Win in a statement released last week refuted allegations by the family of the deceased of neglecting the accident victims and attending to his movie premiere same day after the incident had occurred. Despite the injury sustained, the actor appeared at the premiere of his movie on the night the accident occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He argued that he was only responding to the other members of his crew who had sustained injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He later apologised to the bereaved family for his \u201cinsensitive comment\u201d and postponed his movie premiere in Sunyani to mourn with the family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Popular Kumawood actor Lil Win has been granted bail of GH\u20b550,000 with 2 sureties by the Asokore Mampong district Court.
