This will encourage teachers to accept to serve in rural schools,\u201d Mr Mahama said in an address on Sunday, June 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Mahama also promised Ghanaians to have few ministers if he is voted for in this year\u2019s elections to become president again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, he promised to reduce government spending and use the savings to improve the lives of the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI promise you a leaner government.
