{"id":6458,"date":"2024-06-11T10:06:12","date_gmt":"2024-06-11T10:06:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=6458"},"modified":"2024-06-11T10:06:16","modified_gmt":"2024-06-11T10:06:16","slug":"i-welcome-the-concerns-encouragement-and-insightful-suggestions-bawumia-after-day-1-of-a-r-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=6458","title":{"rendered":"I welcome the concerns, encouragement and insightful suggestions \u2013 Bawumia after Day 1 of A\/R tour"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said he was greatly inspired on Monday, June 10 by the mammoth welcome he received from Asanteman as he began his three-day tour of the Ashanti Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said he had the honor of meeting with the Clergy, Imams and Zongo Chiefs, professional bodies, and the Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt was indeed a privilege and an honour meeting with all these special groups, to share with them my vision for Ghana, and also to seek their blessings and prayers, as I seek to serve our country as President, by the grace of God,\u201d Dr Bawumia wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added \u201cI welcome their concerns,\u00a0 encouragement, and insightful suggestions, aimed at enhancing my transformational vision and policies, for the benefit of our country and citizens. It will help all of us. We need to empower the chiefs to help the government and empowering the chiefs is not only to change the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBut to financially resource the chiefs. If we don\u2019t financially resource the palaces of the chiefs, they can\u2019t do the work we want them to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo my manifesto team has looked at all of it.
