{"id":6625,"date":"2024-06-25T09:00:59","date_gmt":"2024-06-25T09:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=6625"},"modified":"2024-06-25T09:01:02","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T09:01:02","slug":"ghanas-economy-is-set-to-astonish-the-world-this-year-finance-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=6625","title":{"rendered":"Ghana\u2019s economy is set to astonish the world this year \u2013 Finance Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has announced that the country\u2019s economy is undergoing a robust rebound after enduring significant challenges over the past two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He noted that all key indicators are trending positively and are expected to improve further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at a UK Town Hall meeting on Saturday, June 22, Dr Amin Adam emphasized that even international institutions like the IMF and the World Bank are astonished by Ghana&#8217;s economic recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis year our economy is going to surprise the whole world. I can tell you that this economy is rebounding strongly. We are rebounding strongly, and it is surprising the world even the IMF, the World Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;They are all surprised. Last year, they projected our economy will grow at 1.5%, we grew at 2.9%.
