{"id":7333,"date":"2024-07-25T13:36:57","date_gmt":"2024-07-25T13:36:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=7333"},"modified":"2024-07-25T13:37:00","modified_gmt":"2024-07-25T13:37:00","slug":"the-nsawam-accra-tema-railway-line-is-completed-and-in-use-finance-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=7333","title":{"rendered":"The Nsawam-Accra-Tema railway line is completed and in use \u2013 Finance Minister."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Finance Minister Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has said that the commitment of the government to building an efficient railway network is not just about transportation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He says it is about fostering economic growth, creating jobs, and enhancing connectivity throughout our nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Presenting the mid year budget review in Parliament on Tuesday, July 23, he said \u201cThe Nsawam \u2013 Accra \u2013 Tema railway line is completed and in use. The construction of the iconic Tema to Mpakadan railway line is 99 percent complete and is expected to be fully completed this year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further stated that the construction of the Kojokrom-Manso section, is expected to be completed before the end of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ose-youtube ose-uid-5aead77ded77e7fac65d8f5198940244 ose-embedpress-responsive\" style=\"width:400px; height:400px; max-height:400px; max-width:100%; display:inline-block;\" data-embed-type=\"Youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowFullScreen=\"true\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wV4rgvOoAMw?feature=oembed&color=red&rel=0&controls=1&start=&end=&fs=0&iv_load_policy=0&autoplay=0&mute=0&modestbranding=0&cc_load_policy=1&playsinline=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; encrypted-media;accelerometer;autoplay;clipboard-write;gyroscope;picture-in-picture clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen referrerpolicy=\"origin\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Manso \u2013 Huni Valley, which includes the extension of the line into the Takoradi Port, is expected to be completed by May 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Amin Adam further said that government is determined to improve road infrastructure in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This has been done through the construction of new roads, and the upgrade and maintenance of old ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rehabilitation and maintenance of road infrastructure nationwide are at various stages of completion, he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Finance Minister Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has said that the commitment of the government to building an efficient railway network is not just about transportation.
