{"id":7356,"date":"2024-07-26T13:15:28","date_gmt":"2024-07-26T13:15:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=7356"},"modified":"2024-07-26T13:15:31","modified_gmt":"2024-07-26T13:15:31","slug":"health-ministry-dismisses-ablakwas-claim-on-spare-parts-says-ghana-auto-group-hasnt-been-paid-34-9m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=7356","title":{"rendered":"Health Ministry dismisses Ablakwa\u2019s claim on spare parts; says Ghana Auto Group hasn\u2019t been paid $34.9m"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Ministry of Health has said that service provider, Ghana Auto Group Limited, has not been paid an amount of $34.9 million for Amubialnce spare parts as widely reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This follows a claim by the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who had alleged that a procurement deal for ambulance spare parts worth $34 million was a collusion between former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta, former Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, and the private company to defraud the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Health in a statement dated Thursday, July 25,&nbsp; said&nbsp;\u201cThe Ministry of Health would like to clarify that the Service Provider, Ghana Auto Group Limited, has not been paid an amount of $34.9 million as widely reported.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It added \u201cAll documentation covering this transaction is a matter of public record and can be accessed by the public.
