{"id":8092,"date":"2024-09-10T19:50:29","date_gmt":"2024-09-10T19:50:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=8092"},"modified":"2024-09-10T19:50:34","modified_gmt":"2024-09-10T19:50:34","slug":"the-hand-of-god-has-been-strong-in-my-life-since-i-divorced-than-it-was-when-i-was-married-ohemaa-mercy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=8092","title":{"rendered":"The hand of God has been strong in my life since I divorced than it was when I was married \u2013 Ohemaa Mercy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ghanaian gospel singer, Ohemaa Mercy has revealed the circumstances leading to her divorce.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking in an interview with Cookie Tee on TV3, she disclosed that she requested for a divorce to honour God\u2019s ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to her, she opened up to her ex-husband about her intention and he agreed because it was his \u201cpassion\u201d for her to pursue God\u2019s ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ohemaa Mercy explained that at a point, she felt she was \u201cfailing\u201d God and needed a break from marriage to focus more on the ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although divorced, Ohemaa Mercy believes God\u2019s presence has been very strong in her life more than it was when she was married.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen I spoke to my partner, he understood that we have to do this. I told him that I really want us to have a break and then I need to run with the ministry and I know that is your passion for me. During COVID-19, I depended solely on God for direction, I had a strong covenant with him. I will go to the mountains to pray for three months and I really wanted to hear what the lord will tell me about what is going on around me.
