{"id":8892,"date":"2024-11-06T13:50:03","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T13:50:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=8892"},"modified":"2024-11-06T13:50:10","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T13:50:10","slug":"america-has-shown-us-the-way-lets-bring-back-mahama-ndc-to-ghanaians","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fishfmonline.com\/?p=8892","title":{"rendered":"America has shown us the way, let\u2019s bring back Mahama \u2013 NDC to Ghanaians."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has quickly seized on the outcome of the United States&#8217; election, drawing comparisons with Ghana&#8217;s upcoming December polls and urging voters to bring former President John Mahama back to office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on  Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the Deputy Director of Elections in charge of IT, Dr. Rashid Tanko, said the outcome of the U.S. election is &#8220;refreshing&#8221; for the NDC, and called on Ghanaians to vote for the NDC in the upcoming elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, the U.S. election was largely driven by economic issues, noting that America is struggling under the current administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. He argued that the government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia must be replaced in favor of a John Mahama and Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang administration to restore the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn Ghana, let\u2019s compare the same economic challenges we are facing. Americans rejected a government over their economic problems, so do you think Ghanaians will maintain a government in a similar situation?\u201d he asked. \u201cWe are very clear in our minds, and we have told Ghanaians that if you want us to be respected in the field of international diplomacy, you need to vote for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Tanko emphasized, \u201cAmericans have gone back to Trump, so what will stop you from bringing back John Mahama to continue what he was doing and to address the economic downturn the country is facing?
