I\u2019m comfortable in any forward position \u2013 Semenyo on preferred role.<\/h1>\n

Ghana international, Antoine Semenyo, has opened up about his preferred position on the pitch.<\/p>\n

The forward has been used on both wings and sometimes even as a center forward throughout his career.<\/p>\n

His deployment on the left wing in recent times for the Ghana national team raised some eyebrows, with head coach Otto Addo receiving some criticism.<\/p>\n

However, the 25 year old believes he\u2019s comfortable playing in any forward position assigned to him.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u201cThis comes with the ability to use both feet, I think. I\u2019m comfortable playing whether on the left, right or in the middle,\u201d he said in an interview with Stadium Astro.Seriously, I feel like I\u2019m comfortable playing in any role across the forward positions.<\/p>\n

\u201cHowever, in my head the end goal is to be a number 9. \u201cMaybe in the years to come when I\u2019ve built the experience I\u2019ll eventually transition into that, but I\u2019m not too hung up on that.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I end my career playing on either wing, I wouldn\u2019t complain,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Semenyo has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists, for Bournemouth in the Premier League, from wide positions so far this season.<\/p>\n
