The Appointments Committee of Parliament is scheduled to vet Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources, along with three regional ministers-designate, on Monday, 27 January<\/p>\n
The vetting process will commence at 9:00 a.m. in Committee Rooms 1 and 2 of the Parliament\u2019s Administration Building.<\/p>\n
It represents a significant stage in assessing nominees put forward by President John Dramani Mahama to serve in key leadership positions within his administration.<\/p>\n
The nominees slated for evaluation include Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources; Tia Ibrahim, Minister-Designate for the North east Region; Dr Frank Amoakohene, Minister-Designate for the Ashanti Region; and Akamugri Atanga Donatus, Minister-Designate for the Upper East Region<\/p>\n
The Committee will scrutinise their qualifications, experience, and proposed agendas to determine their suitability for their respective roles.<\/p>\n
In previous sessions, the Appointments Committee has successfully vetted and secured parliamentary approval for a number of nominees.<\/p>\n
