The Ghana Football Association has outlined a strategic plan to appoint the next Black Stars coach after parting ways with Chris Hughton on January 23, 2024.
A five-member search committee, led by GFA Vice President Mark Addo, has been appointed to assess and propose a candidate to the Executive Council for approval.
The committee, including legal expert Ace Ankomah and football legend Opoku Nti, has a three-week timeframe to present its recommendation.
The criteria for the new head coach emphasize a proven winning record, alignment with the team’s football philosophy, extensive coaching experience, talent development skills, and strong disciplinary and tactical prowess.
