Ghanaian artist Kwabena Kwabena has delivered a poignant message to women, advising them against enduring abusive relationships.

In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, the acclaimed singer emphasized the inherent wrongness of physical violence within romantic partnerships, asserting that it is never acceptable for a man to raise his hand against a woman, especially someone he claims to love.

Kwabena Kwabena underscored the importance of recognizing signs of abuse early on, particularly during the dating phase. He emphasized that if a relationship becomes marked by physical violence, it should not progress to marriage.

The artist expressed strong disapproval of such behavior, categorically stating that genuine love does not manifest through acts of violence.

The musician urged women to prioritize their safety and well-being by swiftly exiting abusive relationships. Drawing from personal experience and concern for his own daughter’s future, Kwabena Kwabena vowed to protect her from any form of abuse.

He issued a stern warning to prospective suitors, declaring that he would hold them accountable for their actions and swiftly intervene to safeguard his daughter’s welfare.
