Retired Commissioner of Police, Nathan Kofi Boakye, made a notable appearance alongside former President John Mahama during the ‘Building Ghana Tour’ in the Ashanti region on Wednesday, January 24.

COP Kofi Boakye was observed at the Kejetia Market, where Mr. Mahama addressed the crowd as part of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) “24-Hour Economy Walk,” designed to raise awareness about the party’s policies.

Despite being approached by Joy News reporters at the Kejetia Market, the former Police Commissioner declined to make any statements.

Later, he was seen on the podium at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi, where John Mahama addressed the crowd following the completion of the walk.

COP Kofi Boakye, formerly the Police Commander for the Ashanti Region before his retirement, was known for his dedication to duty, earning him the moniker ‘Commander 1.’
