In a commanding display of support, Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency and Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Hawa Koomson, has successfully retained her seat as the parliamentary candidate for the upcoming December 7 general elections in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries.

Hawa Koomson led the competition convincingly, securing a remarkable 1,318 votes. Her competitors, Bernard Dankwa and Eric Boateng, trailed behind with 97 and 8 votes, respectively. The total vote count reached 1,427, reaffirming Hawa Koomson’s popularity and endorsement by the party members.

The victory positions Hawa Koomson to represent the Awutu Senya East Constituency once again, as she sets her sights on the upcoming general elections with the strong backing of the NPP.”
