Offinso Kayera Community Unites Behind ‘Hon. Bryan Acheampong’ for Chief Role, Paving the Way for Progress”

In a press conference held by the residents of Kayera, situated in the Offinso South municipality of the Ashanti region, concerns over the succession of their late king, Nana Karkari Wiafe, have been voiced.

The community is urging the selection of Hon. Bryan Acheampong, Member of Parliament for Abetifi constituency and Minister of Agriculture, citing his roots in Offinso Ayensua k)k)) and promising development initiatives.

Youth leader Mr. Adu Emmanuel emphasized the community’s plea for developmental projects, advocating for Hon. Bryan Acheampong  candidacy during the conference.

Adding weight to the endorsement, the community’s women’s leader, affectionately referred to as “Mama,” recalled Hon. Bryan Acheampong’s impactful visit to Kayera, expressing confidence in his potential as their future leader.

Further validating the support, Nana Owusu Ansah, chief of Ayensua K)k)), confirmed Hon. Bryan Acheampong’s royal lineage and extended his full endorsement for the aspiring chief.

“Dr Acheampong is our royal, whose grandparents migrated to Kwahu.

“We believe that, based on what we have seen him do elsewhere, if we all rally behind him, he will help us develop,” Nana Owusu Ansah,  expressed.
