In a strategic move aimed at enhancing the electoral chances of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming elections, renowned economist Mr Bernard Oduro Takyi has taken charge of efforts to fortify 13 constituencies nationwide.

The initiative, which seeks to consolidate support for the NDC, has gained momentum with Mr. Oduro Takyi spearheading a campaign to engage party stakeholders in the Bono Region.

Commencing his campaign in Techiman South, Mr Oduro Takyi is set to hold crucial discussions with key stakeholders of the party.

Additionally, he plans to leverage various media platforms to advocate for the implementation of the 24-hour economy programme, championed by former President John Dramani Mahama, as a transformative solution for youth employment.

As part of his outreach efforts, Mr Oduro Takyi will serve as the guest speaker at the inauguration of the Youth Working Committee for the 2024 general elections, organized by the executive committee of Kintampo North Constituency in collaboration with the youth wing.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Royal Diamond Hotel, aims to galvanise support and mobilise resources for the NDC’s electoral campaign in the region.

Mr Oduro Takyi’s involvement underscores the party’s commitment to harnessing expertise and rallying grassroots support ahead of the forthcoming elections.

With a focus on youth empowerment and economic revitalisation, his efforts are poised to resonate with both party faithful and potential voters, signaling a proactive approach towards securing victory for the NDC in the Bono Region and beyond.
