Ejisu, Ghana – Traders at the Ejisu Municipal Market have made a strong appeal to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana, urging him to select Maame Frema Opare, the Chief of Staff, as his running mate in the upcoming elections.

Frema Opare

During the bustling Ejisu Sunday market, traders voiced their discontent and clearly signaled their preference. They emphasized that if Dr. Bawumia heeds their request and chooses Maame Frema Opare, they would throw their support behind him. Conversely, failure to do so could jeopardize his chances of securing their votes.

The traders highlighted the significance of having a female running mate who could represent their interests, with chants of “No Frema, no vote” resonating through the market. They believe Maame Frema Opare, being a woman, would be more attuned to their needs and concerns.
