The Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has announced that there will soon be a limited recruitment of teachers into Senior High Schools.

In a Facebook post dated July 30, the Minister disclosed that the recruitment process will commence next week.

He urged potential teachers to be on the lookout for details regarding applications and areas of focus for the recruitment exercise.

“I’m pleased to announce that a limited recruitment drive for high school teachers will commence next week.

“Stay tuned for more details on how to apply and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment,” he announced.

The announcement comes after the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced the recruitment of 15, 200 nurses and midwives, effective Monday, August 5, 2024.

In a statement released on Friday, July 26, 2024, the MoH confirmed that the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has granted the necessary financial clearance for the recruitment process.

Interested and qualified candidates are expected to apply through the MoH’s online application portal, where they can select their preferred agency under the Ministry.

The application deadline will close on Friday, August 23, 2024.

The Ministry has emphasised that the recruitment process is free, and applicants are warned not to pay any fees to individuals or entities claiming to facilitate the process.
