President Akufo-Addo has called on the electorate to vote for the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on December 7.
He also urged them to vote for the 276 parliamentary candidates “who are all number one on the ballot.”
President Akufo-Addo made the call when he addressed the final rally of the NPP on December 5 at the Legon Sports Stadium.
“December 7 is about the future development of our country. Bawumia is well prepared to take over from me. Vote for Bawumia-No 1 and all the NPP parliamentary candidates,” the President urged.
According to him, Dr Bawumia is well equipped with the skills to lead the country into the 4th industrial revolution.
“Vote for someone who knows how to survive the 4th industrial revolution. A leader who understands what it takes to succeed in the 4th industrial revolution. We are looking for someone who has a clear plan,” he asserted.
