The Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has urged the electorate to vote for her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to continue the achievements and development by the NPP administration.

Addressing Ghanaians at the party’s final rally on December 5, 2024, Samira Bawumia said Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, is a decisive leader who will serve Ghanaians well and prioritize their interests.

“This election is about our future; it is about electing a leader who truly cares about this country. It is about electing a President who wants to continue the good work that has been done over the last eight years under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, our current President,” she stated.

Samira Bawumia, who is looking forward to becoming the First Lady after the December 7 elections, noted that Dr. Bawumia will provide jobs, skills training, funds for start-up businesses, and industrialize the economy if elected as the next President.

“Dr. Bawumia will serve you. He will be a strong, firm, and decisive leader. While Dr. Bawumia is promising jobs, skills training, and hundreds of millions of dollars for start-ups and youth empowerment, somebody else is giving ‘aboboya’ and polytanks to go and water the plants,” she emphasized during her speech at the Legon Sports Stadium.

Speaking at the same rally, President Akufo-Addo called on the electorate to vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on December 7.

President Akufo-Addo made the call when he addressed the final rally of the NPP on December 5, 2024.

“December 7 is about the future development of our country. Bawumia is well prepared to take over from me. Vote for Bawumia-No 1 and all the NPP parliamentary candidates,” the President urged.
