Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has accused former Assin Central MP and flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, of actions that he claims have deeply harmed the party’s unity and image.

His statement follows a petition filed by the party, citing him for misconduct, including defamation of Kennedy Agyapong, making false claims against the General Secretary, and misrepresenting the findings of a disciplinary report.

The NPP has requested a full investigation by the Disciplinary Committee and has emphasised its commitment to enforcing discipline and protecting the integrity of the party.

In a statement dated September 30, 2025, Abronye said he is fully prepared to appear before the party’s National Disciplinary Committee following an invitation from the General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua.

He pledged to provide evidence of what he described as the “antichrist actions and inactions” of Kennedy Agyapong, which he believes have seriously undermined the cohesion and integrity of the NPP.

Abronye called for the disciplinary hearing to be made public and broadcast live to allow all party members to witness what he claims is Agyapong’s damaging conduct.
