Hon. Collins Adomako Mensah, member of parliament for Afigya Kwabre north has thrown his weight behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for a second term as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer. During an interview on Fish FM with Akua Pokua, Mensah cited examples of past presidents who won in their second terms, including former Presidents Kuffour, Prof. Mills, and President Mahama, to buttress his argument for Bawumia’s retention
Mensah praised Bawumia’s leadership and national vision, highlighting his consistent engagement with the Afigya Kwabre North constituency. “Dr. Bawumia has personally visited Afigya Kwabre on several occasions, demonstrating his genuine connection with our community,” Mensah said, assuring Bawumia of unwavering support from the constituency’s delegates.
” A second timer presidential candidate stands in a central position to win the general election if we take a look at Ghana’s elections history”
This endorsement comes as the NPP prepares for its presidential primaries, with several candidates vying for the top spot. Bawumia has received widespread endorsements across the country, including from key party figures and delegates.
