President John Dramani Mahama is expected to meet Organised Labour on Tuesday, March 17, in a crucial engagement.
The meeting is aimed at strengthening dialogue between the government and the workers’ representatives.
The meeting follows a similar high-level consultation with the business community last month, as part of ongoing efforts to deepen stakeholder engagement on key national issues.
Discussions with Organised Labour are expected to focus on concerns affecting workers, including wages, cost of living pressures, employment conditions, and broader national issues.
The engagement is also anticipated to provide an opportunity for labour leaders to present their proposals and expectations to the government.
President Mahama is also expected to meet Civil Society Organisations at a later date, in a bid to ensure inclusive participation in decision-making.
