In an exclusive interview with renowned media personality Bola Ray, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, the Chief Executive Officer of the now-defunct UT Bank, has disclosed an extraordinary aspect of his lifestyle—using the same watch, car, and pair of shoes for over 20 years. Amoabeng, known for his distinctive financial choices, shared insights into his enduring commitment to these possessions, emphasizing that he even maintained the same watch prior to becoming an ambassador for Caveman Watches.

The former CEO, shedding light on his past extravagant lifestyle during his tenure at UT Bank, admitted to making what he considers his worst financial decision—purchasing a mansion with ten bedrooms. Unfortunately, after the bank’s demise, financial constraints forced him to part ways with the lavish property.

Amoabeng reflected on the challenges of wealth, stating, “When you have money, a lot of people gravitate towards you. It’s hard to tell who your real friends are, and that’s confusing.” Despite his past financial setbacks, the businessman has found a new association, having started changing his watches after becoming an ambassador for Caveman Watches, a leading Ghanaian watch brand.
