Kumawood actress Mercy Asiedu has expressed vehement displeasure over a false report circulating about her demise. Following her return from the United States of America, the actress, also known as Oheneyere Asiedu, granted an exclusive interview to ZionFelix, during which she addressed the distressing incident.

In the interview, Mercy Asiedu recounted the shock and anguish experienced by her family and friends upon receiving news of her supposed death. Despite being unable to immediately respond to their messages due to the time zone difference between Ghana and the USA, she emphasized the extent of concern generated by the false report.

Furthermore, Mercy revealed that some concerned individuals even went as far as visiting her family’s residence to verify the news, highlighting the gravity of the situation caused by the misinformation.

Expressing her bewilderment at the motives behind such false reporting, the renowned actress vowed to take decisive action against the individual responsible for spreading the fabricated news of her death.

Mercy Asiedu’s firm stance against this malicious act underscores the need for accountability and responsibility in the dissemination of information, particularly in the age of digital media where misinformation can easily proliferate.
