Ahead of the December 2024 general elections, Ghanaian gospel musician and producer, Nacee, has said a new campaign song for former President John Mahama will soon be out.

The gospel musician noted that the campaign song has already been recorded and only left for the NDC to release the song.

He disclosed this in an interview with Onua TV when questioned about his plans for this year’s election.

“Oh, I have composed a song for Mahama… It is done… the NDC will release the song very soon,” told Nana Adwoa Annan of Onua TV.

Nacee is known for involvement in producing campaign songs for the NDC like “E dey bee”, “Onaapo”, and “Mahama Okada”.

Campaign songs are very crucial especially for the political atmosphere when elections are close and they set the tone and send along the political messages of the various parties.

Nacee’s involvement in crafting political tunes extends beyond his work with Mahama, he has previously worked with the former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

Ghanaians are already waiting on campaigns songs for the various political parties. It is yet to be seen whether Nacee’s new campaign song for the NDC will have its impact like the previous ones such as the “E dey bee” and “Onaapo”.
