The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central in the Greater Accra Region, Patrick Yaw Boamah, has provided financial assistance to 30 tertiary students.

The beneficiary students were drawn from Ghana Telecom University College, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, and University of Professional Studies-Accra, among others.

The MP’s support was presented in the form of cheques to the students. The amount ranged from GHS100 to about GHS3,000.

According to the MP, the support was intended to cover the student’s tuition fees and living expenses on campus.

The presentation took place at the MP’s residence in Tesano on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
