The Minister of Finance Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has assured the OKyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin II of Government’s resolve to complete work on the University for Environment and Sustainable Development.
He also assured him of accelerating the work on the Koforidua Hospital Project and sustained work on a new Municipal Hospital.
He said these when he paid a courtesy call on the OKyenhene on Wednesday Febraury 21.
Earlier, Dr Amin Asdam also paid a courtesy call on Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
“The main purpose of the visit is to seek your wise counsel support and blessings” the Minister said.
He gave the Asantehen a firm assurance of the government’s commitment to ensure the Ashanti Region which is the commercial hub of the country gets its fair share of the national cake.
His visit took him to the ongoing Kumasi International Airport and Komfo Anokye Maternity Block.
Dr Amin Adam, until his appointment as Finance Minister by President Akufo-Addo in the recent ministerial reshuffle on February 14, was the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry.
He is currently the Member of Parliament for Karaga.
