Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has donated Ghc10,000,00 to Highlife legend K.K Kabobo to support treatment for his liver disease.

KK Kabobo has been battling liver disease for a while now and is currently undergoing treatment at the University of Ghana Hospital.

On Tuesday, March 5, Wendy Shay visited the legendary musician at the hospital and donated GhC10,000.00 towards his treatment.

“I have donated cash to Kabobo… I am glad he is responding to treatment… I will entreat everyone to come and support him too,” the ‘Habibi’ crooner said while encouraging other to do same.

Broadcaster Barima Kaakyire Agyemang who visited the legendary musician broke the news on his Facebook page and called for assistance to support the musician’s treatment.

After investing so much money in the treatment of the legendary musician, his family announced that they needed financial assistance to pay for his medical bills.

Kabobo has since received support from Ghanaian personalities including former President John Mahama. He has also received an amount of GH₵2000 from GHAMRO to support his treatment.

The general public can also support the veteran musician by making donations through the number, 0242112136 with name Kobbena Kwakye Kabobo.
