Kwesi Ameyaw Cheremeh Wins Sunyani East Parliamentary Primary

The results tallied from the Sunyani East Constituency parliamentary primary of the governing New Patriotic Party in the Bono Region held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, had Mr Kwesi Ameyaw Cheremeh emerge as the victor. 

The announcement of Mr Cheremeh retaining his seat came after a keenly contested race within the party.

Here are the provisional results:

Kwesi Ameyaw Cheremeh – 460 votes

George Kumi – 339 votes

Total Valid Votes: 799

Total Votes Cast: 799

The victory signals a significant endorsement from the party members for Mr Kwesi Ameyaw Cheremeh, reflecting their confidence in his leadership and ability to represent the Constituency effectively
