Foreign Affairs Ministry explains reason for price adjustment for their services

The Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced that it has adjusted the prices of services it renders.

The statement after several complaints about the charges for a passport in Ghana.

According to the Ministry, the charges were adjusted in line with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2023 (L.I. 2481).

The adjustment is said to take effect today, April 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, several persons have complained bitterly about the sudden rise in price for acquiring a Ghanaian passport.

To them, services that were going for a Ghc50 and Ghc100 cedis have skyrocketed to Ghc500 and Ghc 644, Ghc 800 and Ghc 700.
