Nana Agyekum Addo, also known as Dr. Michael Agyekum Addo, the Nkabomhene (Unity Chief) of New Juaben and Chief Executive of the KAMA Group of Companies, has endorsed the wearing of beads among young ladies, highlighting their medicinal properties.

During a town hall meeting in Koforidua on Tuesday, which focused on neglected tropical diseases, Nana Agyekum Addo referenced research suggesting that wearing, watching, and admiring beads can enhance human wellness.

He also promoted the Koforidua beads market, encouraging all Ghanaians to patronize it as the best beads market in the country.

Additionally, Nana Agyekum Addo marketed Koforidua as a prime tourist destination, lauding its serene environment and high air quality. He emphasized that the “Koforidua flowers” are a notable pride of the regional capital.
