Kumasi, Ghana – The Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs has adjourned the arbitration of the Offinso Chieftaincy saga following the failure of legal counsel for Nana Amoako (A.K.A. Dwamena Akenken II) to present an affidavit of opposition.
The judicial committee has rescheduled the hearing to July 19, 2024, where it will begin deliberations between the Ashirem Royal Family and Nana Amoako.
In a statement to the media, representatives from the Ashirem Royal Family expressed their desire for a fair resolution to the case, aiming to end the ongoing disturbances in Offinso.
