The Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Finance with immediate effect.
The move takes place less than seven months after his appointment in January 2025, raising questions within public sector circles about the sudden change.
While no official explanation has been issued, sources at the Jubilee House suggest the reassignment forms part of a wider government reshuffle aimed at aligning key personnel with its economic management priorities.
However, source closed to the jubile house indicates that the decision was partly influenced by delays in the posting of new National Service Personnel following an audit of the service’s online portal.
His reassignment, however, leaves the NSA without a substantive head at a crucial time, as preparations are underway for the next round of national service postings across the country.
