Justice H.L. Akaa Boafo, a Supreme Court Judge and Deacon of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, has called on pastors to study the 1992 Constitution and apply its provisions in their ministries to prevent clashes with national laws.
He made the appeal while addressing the maiden Empowered Ministers Conference of the Assemblies of God at the Light House Assembly in Kumasi. The event brought together about 1,200 pastors, their spouses, and church leaders from the Ashanti North, Ashanti East, and Ashanti West Regions.

The conference featured sessions on topics such as church and the law, conflict resolution, branding for church growth, travailing prayer, management skills, financial administration, pastoral marriage and ministry success, and organizational loyalty.
Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, encouraged pastors to embrace professionalism, adopt best practices, and pursue excellence in their work. He also called on church leaders to invest in the welfare and socio-economic development of their members.
