In a significant gesture of support for educational excellence, the Friends of Teachers Cooperative Credit Union has stepped forward to bolster the Afigya Kwabre North Education Directorate’s maiden Best Teacher Award.

Representing the Credit Union, Mr. Osei Yaw Harrison presented a 43-inch flat-screen television to the Directorate, specifically aimed at enhancing the teaching and learning experience within the district’s public schools.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of the Directorate, Madam Ellen Gyekyewa Eshun, the District Director of Education, conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the Friends of Teachers Cooperative Union for their invaluable support.

“I am profoundly grateful to you for championing such a noble cause within our district. Like Oliver Twist, we hope to continue seeking your unswerving support,” she remarked.

The Afigya Kwabre North District Best Teacher Award marks a significant milestone in honouring the unflinching dedication of educators within the district. Scheduled to take place on 15th December, 2023, at The First Baptist Church in Boamang, this event signifies a heartfelt recognition of the district’s exceptional teachers.
