Veteran Nigerian actor and African screen legend Pete Edochie has met with Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) Chief Executive Officer Sammy Gyamfi in Accra as part of his visit to Ghana to launch the African Legacy Project, an initiative aimed at mentoring half a million young people across the continent.
The courtesy call brought together two prominent figures to discuss youth empowerment, leadership and Africa’s development agenda.
Mr Edochie is in Ghana to unveil the African Legacy Project, which comprises a book, a documentary film and an African Youth Mentorship Programme designed to inspire and equip the next generation of African leaders.
The project is expected to reach and mentor about 500,000 young Africans through education, storytelling and leadership development initiatives.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s most respected actors, Pete Edochie has played a significant role in shaping the continent’s film industry and continues to champion causes focused on youth development and African heritage.
