In a significant development for both parties, Nana Yaw Amponsah, former Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, has assumed the role of president at FC Petrocub in Hîncesti, Moldova.

The collaboration not only promises potential financial benefits but also introduces a prominent and experienced figure into the leadership structure of the Moldovan football club.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nana Yaw Amponsah, who concluded his tenure with Asante Kotoko last year after joining them in 2020, is set to spearhead transformative developments for FC Petrocub.

This move marks a notable chapter in the club’s history and is anticipated to bring about positive changes under his leadership.

During his time at Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Amponsah achieved notable success, securing one league cup for the Porcupine warriors during his tenure.

The official announcement of his appointment as president of FC Petrocub was made on the club’s official Facebook page, signaling a new era for the Moldovan football club under Amponsah’s guidance.
