The delegates of Akuapem South Constituency in the Eastern Region on Saturday, March 2, elected Eric Yeboah Apeadu as their parliamentary candidate.

Eric Yeboah Apeadu who is the aid to the sitting Member of Parliament, OB Amoah, had 267 votes to win the parliamentary primaries.

Other contenders, Frank Aidoo (Akuapem South MCE) obtained 64 votes, Eric Samuel Annor-Mensah had 54 whist Kwame Ofori-Gyau had 152 votes.

Five hundred and forty-two (542) delegates cast their vote out of the 574 who were expected to vote.

Addressing the party’s faithful after the Electoral Officer announced the results, Eric Yeboah Apeadu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the delegates for having confidence in him and voting massively for him to take them to the promised land.

“Now that we are done with the Parliamentary Primaries the big task ahead of us is to go out there and work hard for NPP to break the 8″.

I promise to work hard as well to bring everyone on board to form a formidable front to retain the seat, he maintained.

Meanwhile, he has urged his supporters to be moderate in cerebration so that the party will be united for victory in the December 7, 2024 polls.
