A Police Officer has died after crashing his motorbike into a stationary truck.

He was seen gasping for breath as life slowly left his body. The sad incident occurred in the afternoon of Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Onlookers were busily filming as he raised his left hand in supine position calling for help on the Kumasi-Accra highway.

The policeman, from the narration of some eyewitnesses, was chasing an errant motor rider.

“He was chasing a motor rider when he crushed into the truck,” one by stander said.

Blood oozed from his head just at the tail end of the parked truck.

“The truck had developed a fault, so the driver and mate were working on it when the policeman rammed into it. Both driver and mate left the scene after the incident,” another eyewitness recounted.

The identity of the policeman is yet to be established.
