In a sudden turn of events, the anticipated transfer of Italian striker Moise Kean to Atlético Madrid has been abruptly called off following a failed medical examination. The deal, which was set to initiate Kean’s loan spell with Atlético after an agreement with Juventus, took an unexpected downturn today.

Despite Kean’s arrival at the Metropolitano stadium yesterday, ready to embark on his new chapter with the Spanish club, the transfer unravelled when medical staff from both Atlético Madrid and Juventus could not reach a consensus on the timing of Kean’s recovery from injury. This disagreement has led to Atlético withdrawing from negotiations.

As a result, Moise Kean is now expected to return to Italy tonight, leaving the football community surprised by the unexpected breakdown of what seemed to be a promising move to Atlético Madrid.
